Why I'm Building The Creative Circle

When I write a song, I always begin with an audience in mind.

Sometimes I’m writing for a producer. Sometimes for a filmmaker. Sometimes for an artist trying to tell their story. Other times, the audience is a local community — people needing encouragement, hope, or simply words that help give voice to what they are feeling.

Over the years I’ve discovered something important: creativity becomes most powerful when it serves a purpose.

For a while now, I’ve recognized a different kind of need — one inside the local church.

I’ve met worship leaders carrying too much on their shoulders. Musicians wanting to grow but unsure where to begin. Creative teams looking for stronger culture, better communication, deeper musicianship, and practical ways to develop their gifts.

I know some of those challenges because I’ve lived them.

Over the years I’ve worn many hats: musician, songwriter, producer, music director, worship leader, pastor, mentor, and teacher. I’ve worked in music and film industries while also helping build teams within the local church. Along the way I’ve learned lessons the easy way — and many the hard way.

Those experiences are what led me to begin building The Creative Circle.

So What is The Creative Circle?

The Creative Circle is a subscription-based mentoring community created to strengthen worship and creative teams serving in the local church.

Inside you’ll find practical courses, workshops, coaching, and lessons drawn from decades of experience — covering songwriting, production, worship leadership, team building, creativity, and the practical realities of serving people while growing your craft.

My goal isn’t simply to teach information.

It’s to help people move from raw potential to practiced skill.

Whether you’re writing songs for your church, building a worship team, learning home studio production, developing as a music director, or simply trying to communicate ideas more effectively, I want to help equip and encourage you for the journey ahead.
